About

I started my career as a software engineer, designing and building software applications for the contact centre industry. I worked at a startup that utilised machine learning techniques and simulations to predict demand and optimise staffing patterns. I subsequently moved to AWS, working with Apache Spark, Kubernetes and Python. For many years, my focus was real-time solutions, web APIs, re-platforming projects and Cloud migrations. In recent years, I've been utilising Serverless technology and event-driven architectures across AWS and Azure to develop new solutions.

I've been writing software for 22+ years and my passion for Engineering keeps me always interested in new ideas, languages, and practices. I've been a tech lead for half of my career, managing engineering teams of different sizes, that I've often started from scratch.

Other areas of interest are autonomous systems, self-driving cars, multi-agent technology, where I did research for a brief period of time and learning new programming languages. I also have a lot of enthusiasm for the latest developments in space exploration technology, watching closely SpaceX's developments.
